Our Staff

Daniel Bell is the Owner of BellPort Property Management. He has worked extensively in the field of property management for the past 20 years. Dan has taken BellPort form a startup company in 2008 and built a team of people that are dedicated to providing professional property management services. Dan has continued to invest in the growth of the company. In 2015 he successfully purchased Maintenance Dispatch, a facilities service company as well as a competing Property Management portfolio consisting of residential and commercial properties.
Formerly an employee at Mattson Development, Dan was the property manager for an 80-unit portfolio in Portland, Maine. In addition, he was an acting project manager for the development company focusing on condo and multi-unit redevelopment. Before joining the development company in 2007, he worked as an operations manager for C.B. Mattson, a company that manages 780 family and senior residential housing units throughout the state of Maine. Dan grew up in Farmingdale, Maine. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Maine at Orono where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science in business management and marketing. In his junior year of college, Dan was selected from a pool of thousands to work as a management intern for Walt Disney World. He participated in Disney's college program where he studied organization leadership and human resource management.

Dan Blake is the President of BellPort Property Management. He has been with the company since its inception in 2008, and has 25+ years collective experience in the field. He understands all aspects of properties, management and operations. He consistently delivers outstanding performance to Bellport's clients by working with them to make smart decisions on their properties. Dan directly manages the entire BellPort staff and oversees all functions of the company. Dan grew up in Farmingdale, Maine. After graduating high school, he studied business at the University of Maine at Orono.

Matt Martelle is our Vice President. He joined the BellPort team in 2015. Matt was born and raised in Portland; he graduated from Greely High School and after 2 years at the University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College, decided to put his knowledge and skills to work. He created Martelle Construction in 2005 and for ten years, he provided quality craftsmanship and project management in new construction, renovations, and additions throughout Southern Maine. He lives just outside of Portland with his wife and two kids, Sadie and Crosby. When he’s not working Matt enjoys furniture building, surfing and fly fishing.

Nadia Blake is our General Manager here at BellPort. She has been with BellPort since 2008, and has 15+ years collective experience in the field and is well versed in managing all communications that flow through the office. Nadia provides support to all departments to include management, leasing, billing and maintenance.  She likes to ensure everyone enjoys a positive experience with BellPort Management whether they're a client or tenant residing, ensuring that we never lose touch with our founding principals. Nadia grew up in Whitefield, Maine. After graduating high school, she studied at the University of Maine at Orono.

Andrew Jordan is a Senior Property Manager for BellPort and has been with the company since  2014. He works closely with clients to ensure that their properties are running smoothly. He understands the market well, and provides constant feedback to clients to make sure that they are getting the most out of their investment. Andrew grew up in North Yarmouth, Maine. After Graduating high school, he studied Business at the University of Southern Maine.

Nick Siviski is a Business Development Manager here at BellPort. He has been with the company since 2018. He has a strong history in customer service, Real Estate, and Property Management. Nick is an active SMLA member and owns a multi-unit building here in Portland.  He also carries an Associate Brokers Real Estate license and is a Notary Public. Nick grew up in Wiscasset, Maine. After graduating he studied Business at UMF and Electromechanical Technology at CMCC.

Kimberly Robert is a Senior Bookkeeper for BellPort. She has been with BellPort since 2011. She has over 30+ years of experience in managing property financials for clients in Southern Maine. Kim is highly educated in all aspects of bookkeeping, and provides outstanding detail to BellPort's clients. She monitors all account-performance on a regular basis, and delivers customized reports to BellPort's clients so that there is ongoing transparency regarding the performance of their property or investment portfolio(s). She has an Associate Degree in Accounting.

Sarah Stoddard is a Bookkeeper for BellPort who joined the our team in March of 2020. Prior to BellPort Sarah attended nursing school and worked in the medical field for 8 years providing patient care. Sarah has worked closely with our senior bookkeeper learning many tasks necessary to operate an efficient financial department, with clean and organized records, making locating anything financially related to a tenant or client simple and quick. She has proven to be an asset to BellPort and looks forward to many years within the company.  Outside of work Sarah is a mother to a toddler and enjoys making memories by visiting local animal parks and visiting the family farm in New Hampshire.

Cas Mowatt is BellPort's newest Bookkeeper, joining our staff in 2023. Before BellPort she worked in customer service for 5 years.  She prides herself on doing her best to provide world class service.  Cas was born and raised in Portland, Maine.  She gradutated from Marshwood High School then attended Southern Maine Community College to study the arts.  Outside of work she enjoys to make music and spend time with her furbabies, Noodle and Skimble.

Danielle Anthoine is the Leasing Coordinator and Office Manager here at BellPort. She joined the BellPort Team in 2017. She comes from a background in healthcare but has proven herself to be knowledgeable in Property Management. She fully manages the Leasing Department and its staff by communicating with current tenants about their current leases, processing new applications, creating and updating advertisements, preparing and executing new Leases, sending yearly renewals and handling the move-in and key pick-up of all new tenants. Danielle grew up in Windham, ME where she worked hard and excelled as a Softball player. She was a 4-year Varsity player, 3 time All-Star and held a long Maine state record for highest batting average in a season. After High School she studied Nursing at Rhode Island College and then moved back to Maine where she studied Nursing at USM. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 10 years before switching careers and diving into Property Management.

Karly MacBride is the Maintenance Dispatcher for both our residential and commercial properties. She has been with the company since 2015. In this role she interacts regularly with tenants, vendors, and Property owners. She coordinates the maintenance services, ranging from HVAC problems to general repairs to snow removal, for all BellPort clients and their tenants within.  Karly grew up in Yarmouth. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Vermont where she received degrees in psychology and sociology. She later attended Simmons College and earned her Master's in Education. Karly taught fourth grade for 10 years in Hingham, MA and 2 years in Yarmouth, ME.

Cheryl Matthews is the Assistant Maintenance Coordinator for both our residential and commercial properties, joining our staff in 2023.  Her position includes coordinating vendors, interacting with tenants and property owners, keeping on top of work order updates and a multitude of other tasks.  Cheryl grew up on a dairy farm in Ripley, Maine, where she learned the value of hard work.  While she came to the "big city" for college, she soon realized that being at work was where she wanted to be.  Cheryl comes to us with over 23 years of customer service and managerial experience.  In 2005, she and her husband bought a home in her husband's hometown of South Portland where they currently are coming to terms with being empty nesters.  They have 3 adult children.  Outside of work Cheryl will rarely say no to an adventure and enjoys hanging out with her family and friends.

Rozlin Hawkes is our Administrative Assistant.  She joined the BellPort team in late 2023 and has 3+ years of prior property management experience.  She graduated from Lake Region High School then attended Montana State University to study Renewable Energy Engineering.  When she returned home to Maine she completed classes at York County Community College to certify her in Business Management.  Rozlin spends almost all of her free time with her dog, Logan.  They enjoy various outdoor activities including walks, fishing, snowshoeing, and swimming.

Jeremy McLeod is our Operations Manager and joined the BellPort team in 2016 with over 20+ years of experience in the property management industry. Jeremy's broad range of skills and knowledge in building maintenance and management help set the standards that building owners and condominium association's come to expect. At BellPort Jeremy operates the facilities in a cost-effective manner, while maintaining working relationships with various owners, vendors, and tenants. With years of hands-on experience in most aspects of building maintenance, from interior to exterior, mechanical systems to construction, Jeremy assists with planning and estimating of capital and routine improvements. In addition, he is able to negotiate with vendors to find the best and most cost-effective solutions for a building's unique challenges. As a member of the BellPort team, Jeremy works hard to maintain the integrity of the building as well as give the owner the added peace of mind that their property will be taken care of. Jeremy is an avid outdoors man, spends countless hours with his two children and dog, and loves to fish and coach U14 softball in the spring and summer months.

Nathan Haave is a Maintenance Technician for BellPort who joined the team in 2019. Nate brought with him 3 years of Maintenance experience where he was the Facilities Manager for Night Shift Brewing in Boston. He responds to service calls, completes full Apartment renovations, and does many different carpentry projects. Nate grew up in Wisconsin and studied Business Management at Kendall College in Chicago.

Stuart Lambert is a Maintenance Technician for BellPort. He joined the team in 2014 and has over 20+ years of related experience. He currently completes service calls as they are generated. In addition, he maintains constant tenant contact while representing BellPort. Stuart is responsible for the completion of service and/or determining the necessary course of action to properly complete a project. Stuart also has experience in both commercial and residential real estate and owns properties in Portland. Stuart grew up and graduated high school in Brunswick, Maine. After high school he studied business at USM.

Rick Kimmel is a Maintenance Technician and has been with BellPort since 2011. Rick is responsible for the general maintenance for both residential and commercial properties. In this role he interacts frequently with residential and commercial tenants. Prior to working for BellPort, he spent 6 years working for the State of Maine. Rick grew up in central Maine and continues to live in that area with his daughter.

Dan Gillespie is a Maintenance Technician and has been with BellPort since 2017. Dan is responsible for the general maintenance for both residential and commercial properties. He also does carpentry work for both the residential and commercial properties we manage and is our leading painter.

Andrew Thornton is a Maintenance Technician at BellPort. He joined the team in 2018. Andrew does a variety of different maintenance tasks from Carpentry to Plumbing and never says No to a job. Andrew is a well-spoken employee who loves to meet all the different tenants throughout our portfolio. Andrew grew up in Falmouth, ME and went to University of Maine in Orono where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He currently resides in Saco, ME where he enjoys fishing and being outside as much as possible.

Dave Tucci is a Maintenance Technician at BellPort.  He joined our team in early 2021 coming from a previous job in a property maintenance position working in Central Maine.  Before property maintenance Dave worked in commercial construction building out office spaces in the City.  Outside of work Dave enjoys metal detecting, coin collecting, fishing and bowling.

Usiel Perez Galvez is a Maintenance Technician, joining our staff in 2022.  Usiel is a lead technician when it comes to preparing units for new tenancy and all painting projects.  Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Alex Van is a Maintenance Technician, joining our staff in 2022.  At a young age Alex was always intersted in learning how things worked, taking things apart to put them back together.  He was raised in Portland and prior to BellPort he started his work career with running an electrical test department for semiconductor.  He then started working at the local  hotels, maintaining them in all aspects to ensure guests had a stellar stay.  Outside of work Alex enjoys fishing, running working on cars and spending time with his family.

Ben Black is a Maintenance Technician, joining our staff in 2023.  Prior to BellPort he worked in carpentry and construction.  Ben was born and raised in Brunswick, where he's still residing today.  Outside of work he enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, playing golf and camping.

Myles Simcock is a Maintenance Technician, joining our staff in 2023.  Prior to BellPort Myles worked as an ESL teacher for 7 years.  He is from Oxford Hills.  Outside of work he enjoys playing in bands and working on old motorcycles.  His future goals are to own a beach house and travel to new countires.
