Our StaffDaniel Bell is the owner and president of BellPort Property Management. He has worked extensively in the field of property management for the past 18 years. Dan has taken BellPort form a startup company in 2008 and built a team of people that are dedicated to providing professional property management services. Dan has continued to invest in the growth of the company. This past year he successfully purchased Maintenance Dispatch, a facilities service company as well as Fishman Property Management, a management portfolio consisting of residential and commercial properties.
Formerly an employee at Mattson Development, Dan was the property manager for an 80-unit portfolio in Portland, Maine. In addition, Dan was an acting project manager for the development company focusing on condo and multi-unit redevelopment. Before joining the development company in 2007, Dan worked as an operations manager for C.B. Mattson, a company that manages 780 family and senior residential housing units throughout the state of Maine. Dan grew up in Farmingdale, Maine. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Maine at Orono where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science in business management and marketing. In his junior year of college, Dan was selected from a pool of thousands to work as a management intern for Walt Disney World. He participated in Disney's college program where he studied organization leadership and human resource management.

Dan Blake is the vice president and senior property manager. He has been with the company since its inception in 2009, and has 20 years collective experience in the field. He understands all aspects of properties, management and operations. Dan consistently delivers outstanding performance to Bellport's clients by working with them to make smart decisions on their properties. Dan directly manages the entire BellPort staff and oversees all functions of the company. Dan grew up in Farmingdale, Maine. After graduating high school, he studied business at the University of Maine at Orono.

Nadia Blake is the office manager here at BellPort. She has 8 years collective experience in the field and is well versed in managing all communications that flow through the office. Nadia manages the oversight of BellPort's leasing process and works tirelessly with the team, clients, and tenants to ensure everyone enjoys a positive experience with BellPort Management. Nadia grew up in Whitefield, Maine. After graduating high school, she studied business at the University of Maine at Orono.

Andrew Jordan is the property manager. Andrew works closely with clients to ensure that their properties are running smoothly. He understands the market well, and provides constant feedback to clients to make sure that they are getting the most out of their investment. Andrew grew up in North Yarmouth, Maine. After Graduating high school, he studied Business at the University of Southern Maine.

John Kelley is the rental agent. He has 2 years of experience in the Property Management field in Rhode Island and the Greater Boston area. He is responsible for showing and advertising the units available for lease in the Bellport portfolio. New to Maine, John studied business at The University of Rhode Island.

Kimberly Robert is the in-house bookkeeper. Kim has over 25 years of experience in managing property financials for clients in Southern Maine. Kim is highly educated in all aspects of bookkeeping, and provides outstanding detail to BellPort's clients. She monitors all account-performance on a regular basis, and delivers customized reports to BellPort's clients so that there is ongoing transparency regarding the performance of their property or investment portfolio(s).

Karly MacBride is the customer accounts manager for Maintenance Dispatch, BellPort's sister company which handles commercial facilities services. In this role she interacts regularly with commercial property owners, their tenants, and vendors. Karly coordinates the maintenance services, ranging from HVAC problems to general repairs to snow removal, for commercial property owners and their tenants. Karly also assists BellPort with the scheduling of rental showings, as well as various other day-to-day tasks. Karly grew up in Yarmouth. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Vermont where she received degrees in psychology and sociology. She later attended Simmons College and earned her Master's in Education. Karly taught fourth grade for 10 years in Hingham, MA and 2 years in Yarmouth, ME. She is still very involved in education and works with elementary and middle school aged students regularly.
Matt Martelle is the operations manager. He recently joined the BellPort team. Matt was born and raised in Portland; he graduated from Greely High School and after 2 years at the University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College, decided to put his knowledge and skills to work. He created Martelle Construction in 2005 and for ten years, he provided quality craftsmanship and project management in new construction, renovations, and additions throughout Southern Maine. He lives in the West End of Portland with his wife and enjoys furniture building, surfing and fly fishing in his spare time.

Jeremy McLeod has joined the BellPort team with over 14 years of experience in the property management industry. Jeremy's broad range of skills and knowledge in building maintenance and management help set the standards that building owners and condominium association's come to expect. At BellPort Jeremy operates the facilities in a cost-effective manner, while maintaining working relationships with various owners, vendors, and tenants. With years of hands-on experience in most aspects of building maintenance, from interior to exterior, mechanical systems to construction, Jeremy assists with planning and estimating of capital and routine improvements. In addition, he is able to negotiate with vendors to find the best and most cost effective solutions for a building's unique challenges. As a member of the BellPort team, Jeremy works hard to maintain the integrity of the building as well as give the owner the added peace of mind that their property will be taken care of. Jeremy is an avid outdoors man, spends countless hours with his two children and dog, and loves to coach U14 softball in the spring and summer months.

Stuart Lambert is a maintenance technician for BellPort. He joined the team in 2014 and has over 20 years of related experience. He currently completes service calls as they are generated. In addition, he maintains constant tenant contact while representing BellPort. Stuart is responsible for the completion of service and/or determining the necessary course of action to properly complete a project. Stuart also has experience in both commercial and residential real estate and owns properties in Portland. Stuart grew up and graduated high school in Brunswick, Maine. After high school he studied business at USM.

Rick Kimmel is a maintenance technician and has been with BellPort for the past 6 years. Rick is responsible for the general maintenance for both residential and commercial properties. In this role he interacts frequently with residential and commercial tenants. Prior to working for BellPort, he spent 6 years working for the State of Maine. Rick grew up in central Maine and continues to live in that area.
